Who we are

Avenfair is a brand of Powergroup Norway Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 12671407), at 53 Cornwall Avenue, Southall UB1 2TE, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect, and why

If you email or call us

We keep the correspondence — your name, your email address or phone number, and what we discussed — so we can deal with your question and refer back to it if you write again. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering our own customers.

We do not add you to a mailing list. We run no newsletter, and we will not email you about anything other than the thing you contacted us about.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without setting cookies and without building a profile of you. It does not follow you to other sites. This is why you have not been shown a cookie banner: we do not set any cookies that require your consent.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone.
• We do not run advertising pixels or third-party trackers on this site.
• We do not make automated decisions about you or profile you.
• We do not operate a mailing list.

Who else sees your data

Our email is hosted by Google Workspace, so correspondence you send us is stored on Google's systems under our account. This site is hosted by Cloudflare, who necessarily handle the connection between your browser and our pages.

If you bought our floss or our book on Amazon, that purchase is Amazon's, not ours. We never see your payment details, and Amazon's own privacy policy governs the order. We can see aggregate sales figures and any review you choose to leave publicly.

How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for two years after the matter is closed, then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of what we hold about you
• correct anything that's wrong
• delete it
• stop using it, or restrict how we use it
• send it to you or another provider in a portable format
• object to our using it

Email sales@avenfair.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a regulator: in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk; in the EU, the data protection authority in the country where you live.

Changes

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and you are on our list, we will email you about it rather than hoping you notice.
